Who We Are - What We Stand For
A WORD FROM THE FOUNDERS
CloudHaus was created in 2019 to address the housing crisis that followed the massive wildfires in Northern California. During that year, as I often drove down Highway 12 where the Sonoma fires destroyed hundreds of homes, I could see to my left the miles of ash and ruble. I noticed what survived the fire were things like a steel staircase, burned out car skeletons and charred chimneys. Then on my right hand side, I could see acres of new homes being built with timber framing. The juxtaposition was haunting. The thought of building homes with flammable materials propelled me to find a safer more durable way.
The vision became to create better housing at an accelerated pace that made sense for today’s housing crisis. Years of research and development, evaluating and testing multiple building products and methodologies, led us to the business model and home solution we are proud to now offer the industry.
CloudHaus is dedicated to help close the gap between the haves and the have nots when it comes to housing. We are illuminating the pathway forward offering a non-traditional methodology to obtain homes in order to help many obtain the American dream of homeownership.

Our Purpose: CloudHaus Dwellings exists to transform the way homes are built—prioritizing durability, safety, affordability with increased inventory and mass availability for all.
By increasing home inventory through prefabricated methodologies and switching up the home purchasing process, we are passionate about solving the housing crisis with innovation and intention, one panelized home kit at a time. Your home kit will be prepared in the factory, while you are preparing your property, so when the kit arrives within 2-3 months you can begin building.
Our Mission: To design, engineer, and deliver high-performance home building kits using metal structural insulated panels (MSIPs), empowering more and more individuals, families and communities access to safe, durable, easy to maintain and cost effective homes.
