Choose one of our amazing CloudHaus designs or design your own. CloudHaus can kit (Metal SIPS, selected siding and roofing) most all designs.
Before you commit to a design, please make sure you know exactly what your property is zoned for, what the set back laws require, height requirements, and minimum and maximum square footage. It must be zoned residential. Is it in an HOA? If yes, read the covenants of the HOA and understand size restriction, types of materials, etc.
The property owner and/or general contractor will be the named applicant for the various building permits required by you county or township.

Email us a completed form along with your design and our estimating team will produce a comprehensive project estimate and send it to you for review.
Your CloudHaus rep will connect with you to discuss the estimate and answer any questions you may have.
We understand that building with Metal SIPs is different than building with traditional methods, so we’re here to help and guide you towards making the right decision for your project.

Once we receive your deposit, we will assign a structural engineer to begin working on your home design plan set that will allow you to receive a building permit.
The deposit and fees allow us to generate the following items needed to place your home into the Metal SIP production process. This includes:
A Building Permit – Please let us know if you have obtained your building permit, or if you require sealed shop drawings to apply for one.
IFC Drawings – A finalized set of construction drawings.
Supplier Information – Such as shop drawings for floor layout and roof layout.
Rough Openings – a window and door schedule from your supplier that distinctly outlines the rough opening dimensions.
Your CloudHaus project manager will then communicate with you regarding production time.
You will be signing off and approving everything before it goes into production. This includes house plans, shop drawings and permits.

While your home is going through manufacturing process, the property owner will need to get the land prepared — grading, utility hook ups, plumbing, sewer lines, wells and septic tanks and foundation.
There are no special requirements needed at this stage to accommodate the CloudHaus System. The owner prepares the land exactly as they would for tradition wood-framed homes.

The panels arrive on your site bundled and marked with corresponding drawings and all accessories. Your siding and roofing will come in a 2nd delivery according to your building schedule. A project manager will coordinate all deliveries with you.
The property owner, GC or builder will need to be present when the panels are delivered in order to 1. unload all panels 2. inspect the inventory and 3. sign off on final delivery. The delivery company will not be available to help unload, per their company policies.
It’s highly recommended that you have 3 helpers to unload the panels and stack them in sequential order.
The panels will arrive in sequential order and will be labeled W-1, W-2, W-3, etc. (walls), C (ceiling), F (floors), etc. Organizing and stacking your panels bottom to top starting with the last panel on the bottom and the first panel to install on the top of the stack will enable your installation to be highly efficient.
In the event you are not installing the panels right away, you do not need to store the panels. They can be left outside in any weather condition with out harm. It’s a good idea to tarp or strap down the panels if you are in a high wind area.

Your can finish the home with any exterior or interior products you like.
Brick, Siding, aluminum and other skin systems are applied directly to the panel studs (every 16″) without additional sheathing. Yes it holds. For Stucco – add PVC mesh per manufacturer’s requirement.
For your interior, you can place drywall directly to the panel studs. As well, you can use any other wall paneling product like decorative panels, wains coating, bead board slat board or even metal siding to create a distinct and personalized look.
