  • Yes. Always assume you need a permit for any structure over 120 sf.

First step in building is to know for certain what your property is zoned for. It could be residential, farming, mixed use, commercial or other. Don’t assume anything.

Obtain a plot map of your property from the county or your realtor to see where the exact boundry lines are located.

Identify exact locations of easements, set backs, driveways and walkways, wells, septic tanks, propane tanks, drain and sewer pipes, caldrons, creeks, rivers and other sticking points like wetland areas or endangered species zones may exist.

  • Yes.

  • All homes require maintenance, however, wood-framed homes, metal and EPS panels do not suffer mold, mildew, fungus, rot, termite and vermin damage, bowing, water damages and dilapidation. That reduces the maintenance time and costs significantly. More so, the insulation won’t degrade over time and weep down in the wall system, loosing valuable energy. And there is no food source for termites, mold, rats and other critters to enjoy, adding another level of peace of mind that your home is protected for years to come.

  • CloudHaus Kits are classified as site- built homes. The components of the home arrive in a kit from the factory ready for assembly. The home’s structural framing, insulation, vapor barrier and sheathing take the form of prefabricated panels (4ft x 8, 10, or 12). These panels are pre-engineered according to any home design you desire and stamped by our structural engineers for your exact property location. The panels come with pre-cut window and door openings and an electrical channel running horizontal throughout.

A home building kit has many valuable benefits for property owners, contractors and developers.

There is no wasted time procuring materials for the home build. There is no waste given it’s a kit, therefore there are no landfill charges or wasted time on dump runs.

The panels, because they provide 4 steps into 1 panel, save 50% in labor, allowing the build to be completed in months vs. years. The quicker the build, the faster, 1. owners can move in, 2. developers can begin earning income from occupancy, and 3. contractors and builders can take on more projects, increasing their income.

ABOUT OUR METAL SIP KITS

DELIVERY

  • No, however in your “get-a-quote” submission, we’ll provide that to you, as it requires us to have your design of interest and the delivery location.

  • Our strategic manufacturing partners are located in Arizona, Missouri, and Virginia, so depending on the customer's location and building needs, we ship based on the best pricing option for that project.

  • Our delivery partners take extra caution to deliver components without damage.  Our shipping partner, Worldwide Express, is the official logistics partner for NASCAR and are extremely skilled at safe deliveries. If there are issues during shipping and upon arrival, we will work with our partner to ensure the problem is remedied.

  • Yes, the delivery company will contact you prior to arrival as to the approximate delivery time.  Customers will need to be responsible for receiving the kit and unloading the panels and boxes.

We recommend you have three helpers to unload the truck, as the truck driver is unable to help, per their business insurance policy.

Very Important: This is the time to unload the panels and place them next to the walls in which they will be installed. The panels arrive in sequential order - last to first. So when you unload the panels, place the last panel to be installed on the bottom of the stack. This will keep panels organized and you will not waste valuable time reorganizing the stacks of panels.
