What are Cloudhaus Kits made with?
In an effort to provide an energy efficient, quick build, cost effective,
long lasting, and low maintenance ADU or house, CloudHaus uses metal
SIPs (structural insulated panels) over Wood sips or insulated concrete forms.
To see a side by side comparison click here. We include metal siding and
roofing as it offers the best protection against harsh elements like wind and
snow and is a non-combustible material that will slow flame propagation and
spread.
What’s included in my CloudHaus Kit?
CAD design, HVAC, floor, roof and electrical plans.
Engineered and stamped blue prints.
Permit for your exact property location.
Installation and assembly Instructions.
Metal trusses.
Manufactured Metal SIPs with pre-cut window and door openings, insulation,
vapor barrier and sheathing (all in one panel system) pre-engineered with
built in headers and beams.
Caulking.
Fasteners, plates, screws, tracking.
HVAC plan.
Metal Siding (fasteners, screws, trim).
Metal Roofing (fasteners, screws, soffits, trim).
What’s not included?
Land, utilities, electrical, plumbing, drywall, flooring, light fixtures, deck
and porches, and finishing materials.
Are the kits considered factory built or are they site built?
CloudHaus kits are classified as "site built" homes, constructed with
components that are partly prefabricated and manufactured in a factory.
They are not considered or classified as modular homes, mobile homes or
prefabricated homes. Because our Metal SIPs are a prefabricated home
building component, they have gone through specific certification and
testing processes.
