Cloudhauz was founded in 2019 to address the housing crisis and to build using sustainable materials that are ultra-durable, stand up to climate change and are cost-effective for everyday people. As a company that curates, prefabricates and builds housing for the 21st century, our company goal is to build responsibly addressing the housing shortage using prefabricated advanced construction technologies, safe, durable and sustainable building materials and locally sourced labor and finishing products. We have a network of business, partners and suppliers throughout the US and Canada with like-minded goals and philosophies to bring the housing building industry into the 21st century. As a collective we meet regularly to advance our mission.
Lisa Copass, Founder and CEO: Ms. Copass has 34 years of business and professional services experience in launching start-up companies, products and real estate ventures - marketing them and preparing them for sale (or IPO) for top dollar. The first 25 years of her professional career was spent at PR and Marketing agencies in San Francisco, followed by the next 10 years in Real Estate, construction, design, renovation, staging and marketing homes that would yield the highest possible ROI. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder and holds two B.S. degrees; one in communications and one in anthropology.
UJAMMA Construction: CloudHauz is proud to partner with UJAMMA for their superior work in residential construction services in the Midwest and Southeast. UJAMMA has over 20 years of business construction experience, has an outstanding reputation and a business philosophy unlike other construction companies. UJAMAA is a Kiswahili term for the concept of unity and people supporting each other. This not only affects how we work but our entire outlook on the work we do. With each project, we want to truly impact people and leave areas better than when we arrived. To remain true to this rich concept, we foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and trust internally and externally. We think holistically, meaning we see the whole picture when we build. Technical know-how, diverse staff, and a vision for safe and innovative construction are what make us a dominant force in the spaces we inhabit. www.ujamaaconstruction.com.
