CloudHaus Dwellings, LLC is on a mission to transform the affordable residential housing industry!
Our organization was formed in 2019 to address the affordable housing crisis and to build responsibly by procuring and manufacturing prefabricated home kits made with Steel SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) and other ultra-durable materials so they stand up to climate change, last hundreds of years and are cost-effective for everyday people.
Today residential home construction is 97% timber-stick framing - it's been this way for a hundred plus years. The problem is stick framing is slow and tedious to construct, prone to human errors and can be dangerous for homeowners because; wood is combustible, prone to dry rot, termite damage, mold/mildew diseases and structural dilapidation and failure. In contrast, Steel-SIPs (consisting of only steel and expanded polystyrene foam) will not burn (non-combustible materials) or rot (no food source for mold-mildew, termites and other vermin), and they have a 300-plus year life span. Our steel SIPs stand up in 200+ mph winds, 9.0 richter scale earthquakes, are 100% non flamable and are impervious to wood rot and delapidation.
By using Steel SIPs construction technology - which has been used widely in commercial building applications for over 50 years - we are able to reduce home build times by 50%, improve energy efficiency by 70% and increase the life-span of residential home structures to well over 300 years. At the end of the day, consumers have a safer home, a steel home that lasts hundreds and years and requires zero-maintenance. And a home that can be passed down for generations to come (which creates generational wealth and shelter security instead of shelter insecurity).
CloudHaus kit components include steel structural framing, steel trusses, roofing, siding, windows, doors and an HVAC system all integrated and permitted by state licensed structural engineers. The components are shipped via flat deck trucks to a pre-permitted property site ready for installation. We have structural engineers licensed in all 50 states and 16 territories and a network of strategic business partners and suppliers throughout the US. As a collective we meet regularly to advance our mission.
Our prefabricated kit home process has the potential to accellerate new construction home inventory throughout the Nation by 30-50% and at a price point of $125.00 - $275.00 per square foot. Read Construction Costs To Build A Home

UJAMMA Construction: CloudHaus is proud to partner with UJAMMA for their superior work in residential construction services in the Midwest and Southeast. UJAMMA has over 20 years of business construction experience, has an outstanding reputation and a business philosophy unlike other construction companies. UJAMAA is a Kiswahili term for the concept of unity and people supporting each other. This not only affects how we work but our entire outlook on the work we do. With each project, we want to truly impact people and leave areas better than when we arrived. To remain true to this rich concept, we foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and trust internally and externally. We think holistically, meaning we see the whole picture when we build. Technical know-how, diverse staff, and a vision for safe and innovative construction are what make us a dominant force in the spaces we inhabit. www.ujamaaconstruction.com
